1. Open the storage location audit tools
Audits are storage-location focused and are used to check the quantities in a specific location.
From the home screen, navigate to the storage location you want to audit.
Open the audit tab to access audit management options.
2. Configure audit frequency or pause auditing
Use Audit Frequency to set how often audits should be prompted.
Example: set it to every 7 days to automatically prompt audits on that schedule.
If needed, enable Pause Auditing to temporarily stop audits for that storage location.
3. Create a new audit as an admin
As an admin, select Create Audit Now and confirm.
This immediately initiates a new audit for the storage location.
After creation, the audit can either be completed by the admin or assigned to another user.
4. Assign the audit to an inventory mode user
If you have access to inventory mode, choose Assign Auditor.
Select Assign to Inventory Mode User or pick a specific user.
The audit is then queued for that user to complete in inventory mode.
5. Start and complete the audit yourself
If the admin is completing the audit, select Start Now.
Review the items in the storage location and compare them to the expected quantities.
Update quantities as needed and confirm each item as you go.
If something is present that was not expected, use Add Items Manually.
Add any relevant context in the Notes field.
When finished, press Confirm to complete the audit.
6. Review the audit results and history
After confirmation, a report is shown immediately.
The report highlights discrepancies such as:
More than expected
Less than expected
The storage location page also shows:
The last completed audit
The next scheduled audit prompt
A list of past audits
7. Manage an existing audit
Existing audits can be updated if needed.
You can reschedule an audit for a different day.
You can also cancel an audit entirely if it should not be completed.
8. Complete an assigned audit in Inventory Mode
Log in as the Inventory Mode user.
Open the list of audits and find the one assigned to you.
Start the audit and review the item list.
Adjust quantities as needed, just like an admin would.
Before confirming, you can also update item details such as an expiration date.
Add notes or manually add an unexpected item if necessary.
Press Confirm to finish the audit.
9. View the completed audit details
After completion, the Inventory Mode user sees the full audit details.
This is the same audit information available to the admin.
Use this view to verify what was counted and review the final audit outcome.
