Logging usage in Inventory Mode

1. Open the Daily Usage function in Inventory Mode

• This walkthrough shows how an Inventory Mode user logs item usage.

• The goal is to record items that are used so inventory updates correctly.

2. Choose how to add items to your usage basket

• You have a few ways to start logging usage:

  • Use a quick link for an item you recently used.

  • Select an item that is commonly used at your site.

  • Scan items or select them manually using the button at the bottom of the screen.

3. Scan an item and add it to the basket

• Scan the item you used.

• Add it to your usage basket.

• Once added, you can review the item and update it if needed.

4. Adding items manually

• Use the top-right button to add an item manually.

• Enter the required details:

  • Item being used

  • Where it is being used

  • Expiration date (if needed)

  • Quantity used

5. Review and edit the usage basket

• Your basket can contain multiple items.

• You can change the usage date if needed (defaults to today).

• You can also add extra tags or notes for any additional information you want to track.

6. Confirm and save the usage

• Press Confirm Usage to finalize the entry.

• The usage is saved and logged.

• Inventory updates automatically based on the confirmed usage.
