1. Open the item from the inventory screen
From the Inventory screen, select the item you want to update.
Open the item’s details page to review its current information.
In this example, the item shows 22 available.
2. Open the Edit Item menu
In the top-right corner, click the menu.
Select Edit item.
This opens the full list of editable fields for the item.
3. Update the item details
You can change several fields, including:
Name
Category
Restock alert
Image
Barcode
Cost range
Notes
Buy more link
Make any needed edits before saving.
4. Set the restock alert threshold
The restock alert determines when the item is considered low stock.
Example: if you set the alert to 30, the item will be flagged as low stock whenever the quantity drops below 30.
This helps trigger a restock alert when inventory is running low.
5. Save the changes and confirm the low-stock status
Click Save to apply your updates.
After saving, the item will be marked low stock if its quantity is below the threshold.
In this example, 22 available is below the 30 restock alert, so the item is now flagged as low stock.
