Overview

1. Start an Inventory Mode session

• Open Inventory Mode.

• Tap the circle button at the bottom of the screen.

• Scan your badge and enter your PIN.

• Once authenticated, you can use the Inventory Mode functions.

2. Choose between Daily Mode and Restock Mode

• In the bottom-left corner, switch between:

  • Daily Mode for logging item usage

  • Restock Mode for restocking storage locations

• Pick the mode that matches what you need to do.

3. Log item usage in Daily Mode

• In Daily Mode, you can record items as they are used.

• Tap the scan button at the bottom.

• Scan the item barcode.

• Enter:

  • the storage location you pulled from

  • the expiration date

  • the quantity used

• The item is added to your usage list/basket.

4. Add an item manually if it cannot be scanned

• If the barcode is unavailable or not scannable, use the top-right add button.

• Select the item manually.

• Choose the storage location, expiration date, and quantity used.

• Add it to your usage basket.

5. Review and confirm your usage basket

• Open the basket icon in the bottom-right corner to review items.

• Confirm the items you want to save as usage.

• Tap the confirm/create action at the bottom of the screen.

• This creates a usage event.

• After saving, you can view recently used items and commonly used items at the site.

6. Switch to Restock Mode to replenish storage locations

• Go to Restock Mode to restock storage locations.

• You’ll see storage locations with statuses such as:

  • Ready to be restocked

  • Continue if a restock was already started earlier

7. Start or continue a restock basket

• Select a storage location, such as General Storage.

• If the basket is empty, scan an item and press Save to add it.

• The item is added to that location’s restock basket.

• Use the bottom-right basket icon to see all storage locations with active restock baskets.

• Choose Continue to resume a partially completed restock.

8. Add more items to the restock basket

• While continuing a restock, you can:

  • Tap the scan button to scan more items

  • Tap the plus button in the top-right corner to add an item manually

• Enter the item details, including:

  • item name

  • quantity

  • expiration date

• Save to add the item to the restock basket.

9. Save the completed restock

• Once all items are added, tap the save action in the top-right corner.

• This finalizes the restock for that storage location.

10. End or auto-expire the session

• If left idle, Inventory Mode will auto-log out after 5 minutes.

• To end the session manually:

  • Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner

  • Select End badge session

• The device is then ready for the next user.
